As a one-woman small business, Chroma Rex intentionally supports suppliers that are fellow small businesses, often local, woman- and/or BIPOC-owned.

Quarterly donations are also made to mutual aid & non-profit organizations securing civil and human rights for all. Current donation recipients are Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund and International Rescue Committee.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Striving for continuously more eco-friendly products and practices is an on-going effort. Reused, biodegradable & recyclable shipping materials (in that order) are prioritized whenever possible.

While not all products in the shop are composed of sustainable materials, they are all thoughtfully designed with my materials science background to encourage less consumption, are optimally durable for multiple purposes, and can be repurposed if not recycled or commercially composted.
