2025 Holiday Gift Guide
Need some last-minute gift ideas that show you care? Here are the bestselling Chroma Rex goodies from this season, and who customers said they bought them for:
1. Kiddo (& Adult) Aprons
For your favorite little sous chef! Adjustable to fit (approximately) ages 3 - 7 years old best. Choose from Dumplings, Bumblebees, or Pacific Northwest in green. And if you decide to get a matching one for yourself, the straps on the adult sizes are a different color, to tell them apart at a glance if they're hung up together.
2. Knit Cotton Throw Blankets
I'm all sold out of the Strawberry design (thank you for loving those!), but I still have 2 Tide Pool blankets left! Made of a soft combed cotton yarn, these can handle machine washing & drying, without pilling up the way that brushed cotton would. And being 100% cotton, they're infinitely softer than recycled cotton blankets (those yarns are 50% cotton, 50% polyester). It's been wonderful to hear that these are being gifted to a favorite relative or close friend, to keep them cozy. Love that the artwork has reminded y'all of your loved ones' interests!
3. Wall Vases!
This one makes me the happiest, because I wasn't sure how folks would react to these when I started exploring more sculptural work recently (cut from my drawings!).
I can't make these fast enough - and I sculpt them all myself! and paint & seal all carrots! - because y'all have thoughtfully been gifting them to the friends & family who have gardens, who would love some herbs to be handy in the kitchen for cooking or making tea. Or for those who love floral arranging!
The carrots are not online, so you'll have to find me at Valley Made Market in Mount Vernon on the 20th & 21st at Hillcrest Lodge, but the Hand-Picked wall vases (get it?!) are available on my website.
4. Light Switch Wall Plates
These are not online, because they keep selling out before I can photograph a batch (thank you!!!), but they've been the surprise goodie folks have been buying for their partners or roommates or for themselves, especially if there's a room remodel in the works. Feel free to email me for a custom order too, if you need a toggle vs rocker switch, and a specific design!
All nature or food themed - all the happy things! These are all sealed in a glossy epoxy resin rather than varnish, for maximum durability.
5. Sponge Cloths
It's always a delight when someone gasps spotting my sponge cloths, and then dashes into my booth at a holiday market when they realize that I design Swedish dish cloths that are a more ergonomic, dish sponge/hand size! The popular Garden design is sold out for now, but Bumblebees, Dumplings, and Cacti have also been selling fast this season - for the gardeners, foodies, and snowbirds in your life!
6. Kitchen Towels
A gift in itself, that doubles as reusable gift wrap too! Rhody has by far been the most popular, but it's been surprising how many of you have friends & family in AZ & NM, who have snatched up my Southwest towel with a cactus sponge cloth too! If you need a whole bundle of towels for gift wrap, I recommend my Geometric Ferns design, which is on sale right now for 20% if you grab 4 of them, and perfect for anyone with a more modern, minimal style in their home. There are also 50% off bundles of Southwest, for a few sets that have pretty uneven borders if you don't mind!
And maybe not a bestseller, but for an extra special, one-of-a-kind gift, I've also got some smaller original paintings that are easy to ship (and some VERY large ones that I'll ship too, haha).
